Boarding School

This project is a new dining commons and student center for a 300 student boarding school. Set on a 100+ year old campus the project aims to fi t in with the existing Regional Johnson architecture while also brining the vernacular of the school into contemporary times. The project site is on top of a mesa with panoramic views of both the ocean and the mountains. The building aims to take advantage of the spectacular views and bring the idyllic Mediterranean climate of southern California into the project creating a synergetic dining experience from inside to outside.
